डिजिटल डेस्क, नई दिल्ली। एल एंड टी के चेयरमैन एस एन सुब्रह्मण्यन (L&T Chairman  SN Subrahmanyan) ने कुछ दिनों पहले कहा था कि कर्मचारियों को एक हफ्ते में 90 घंटे काम करनी चाहिए। उन्होंने इतना तक कह दिया था कि कोई पति घर में अपनी पत्नी को कितनी देर तक घूर सकता है।  

एस एन सुब्रह्मण्यन के इस बयान की काफी आलोचना हुई थी। हालांकि, एल एंड टी के चेयरमैन ने अब एक ऐसा फैसला लिया है, जिसकी काफी तारीफ हो रही है। दरअसल, अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस से ठीक पहले (International Women Day)  उन्होंने  घोषणा की है कि पैरेंट ग्रुप की कंपनी में काम करने वाली महिलाएं पीरियड्स (Menstrual leave) के दिनों में एक दिन की छुट्टी ले सकेंगी।

पांच हजार से ज्यादा महिलाओं को मिलेगी राहत

L&T कंपनी में काम करने वाली महिलाओं के लिए यह एक बड़ी राहत भरी खबर है। इस कंपनी में 60,000 कर्मचारियों में महिला कर्मचारी लगभग 9 प्रतिशत हैं। उनके इस फैसले से लगभग 5 हजार महिलाओं को फायदा मिलेगा।

इन राज्यों में दी जाती है पीरियड्स लीव

गौरतलब है कि कई राज्यो में प्राइवेट और सरकारी, दोनों क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं को पीरियड्स लीव दी जाती है। बिहार, केरल, सिक्किम , ओडिशा जैसे राज्यों में महिलाओं को पीरियड्स के दिनों में छुट्टी दी जाती है। कर्नाटक में भी प्राइवेट और सरकारी दोनों क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं के साल में छह दिन पीरियड्स लीव देने पर विचार किया जा रहा है।

“There is still a lot of ambiguity around tariffs and in what shape and form they are going to be implemented. Sectors which have high levels of exports to US like Auto ancillaries, Pharma can get impacted,” says Sachin Bajaj, CIO, Axis Max Life Insurance.In an interview with ETMarkets, Bajaj said: “In general, if because of trade tariffs, global growth slows down, India’s growth projections will also be impacted negatively,” Edited excerpts: What a volatile February we have seen amid trade war fears and the selling by FIIs in Indian markets. What are your views?Indeed, February has seen significant volatility. Uncertainty looms over how US policy directions will unfold, and countries such as India, Thailand and China could be amongst the worst affected by reciprocal tariffs.While reciprocal tariffs remain a looming threat, their actual execution and impact are yet to be fully realized. In addition to global influences, domestic factors such as weak earnings, and high valuations have also contributed to the decline in Indian equities. Trade war fears are real – what is the kind of impact you foresee on specific sectors as well as markets in general? There is still a lot of ambiguity around tariffs and in what shape and form they are going to be implemented. Sectors which have a high level of exports to the US like Auto ancillaries, Pharma can get impacted.In general, if because of trade tariffs, global growth slows down, India’s growth projections will also be impacted negatively. On the positive side, tariffs will strengthen the argument of “China + 1” supply chain which will benefit India in the medium to longer run. What about earnings? Do you see an earnings recovery in CY25? The earnings growth for NIFTY has been slow, with a 4% YoY PAT growth for nine months FY25 and 5% in the December’24 quarter.However, growth is expected to pick up from the Q1 next fiscal due to base effect from the previous year, increased Government spending and consumption boost due to personal tax benefits.We expect earnings to recover to a low teen growth over FY25-26.Small & midcaps are in a bear market or probably trading around that. How should one play this theme? Do you see more pain? The small and mid-cap sectors had experienced significant overvaluation, which is currently undergoing a correction phase. Certain market segments still have valuations as compared to their fundamentals, which mean that further declines are possible.Nevertheless, this correction provides an opportunity for long-term investors to begin accumulating stocks.Where are the pockets of opportunities for investors this year? Currently, we favour large-cap stocks over mid and small-cap stocks. Some of the sectors where we believe pocket of opportunities are emerging are large Private sector banks and NBFCs, Life Insurance, Utilities, FMCG, T&D value chain and beneficiaries of low-ticket consumer spending.There are a lot of stocks that trade at a discount of 20-50% from their respective highs. How should one pick those stocks – what should be the ideal criteria?Many of the stocks which are down sharply from their respective highs are also the ones which went up sharply last year. Valuations have run ahead of fundamentals, which is now correcting.One should be looking at companies with strong balance sheet, robust cash flows and earnings visibility. For long-term investors, volatile markets are good times to pick up fundamentally strong businesses at attractive investors.SIPs clock Rs 26K for the second month in a row but if market momentum tapers – do you see a possibility of tapering of SIP flows as well?Slight cautiousness is already visible in SIPs. Active SIP accounts in direct plan mutual fund schemes witnessed a decline in January. However, we do not expect a sharp decline in SIPs inflows.What about Gold & Silver investing in 2025? We saw Gold ETFs flows seeing a steady rise in the past few months.Gold has delivered strong returns over the past year. During times of global uncertainty, investors usually prefer Gold as a safe investment. राज्य ब्यूरो, पटना। बिहार में विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले पांच पार्टियों के गठजोड़ वाला महागठबंधन जनहित के मुद्दे पर सदन से सड़क तक एकजुटता के साथ अपनी आवाज कुछ और बुलंद करेगा। महागठबंधन विधायक दल की बैठक में इसका निर्णय लिया गया।

बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए नेता प्रतिपक्ष तेजस्वी यादव ने कहा कि हमें दोनों सदनों में उन मुद्दों को उठाना है, जिनसे जनता का प्रत्यक्ष वास्ता है।

महागठबंधन में तेजस्वी के नेतृत्व को लेकर विवाद नहीं

• तेजस्वी ने ये भी कहा कि अगर सरकार अगर उचित नोटिस नहीं लेती तो उन मुद्दों को लेकर हम जनता के बीच भी जाएंगे। इसमें महागठबंधन की पहल और आवाज एकत्रित हो।
• एकजुटता का यह संदेश ही हमें अपने लक्ष्य में सफल बनाएगा। सहयोगी दलों ने एक स्वर में स्वीकार किया कि महागठबंधन में तेजस्वी के नेतृत्व को लेकर कोई विवाद नहीं है।
• प्रदेश में इस साल होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव को महागठबंधन तेजस्वी यादव के नेतृत्व में ही लड़ेगा। इसके साथ ही आगामी चुनाव को लेकर अभी से तैयारियां भी शुरू हो गई हैं। 

इन दलों के नेता रहे मौजूद

पूर्व मंत्री आलोक मेहता के आवास पर हुई बैठक में राजद, कांग्रेस सहित तीनों वामदलों (भाकपा, माकपा व भाकपा-माले) के विधायक-विधान पार्षद उपस्थित रहे। तमाम कयासों व बयानबाजी को दरकिनार करते हुए कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ विधायकों ने कहा कि महागठबंधन आगे भी एकजुट रहेगा।

अंतर्कलह या विवाद की कोई गुंजाइश ही नहीं है। राजद विधायकों का आग्रह था कि यह एकजुटता सदन में भी पुरजोर तरीके से दिखे। वाम दलों, विशेषकर माले ने राजद के इस विचार से हामी भरी।

तेजस्वी ने की तालमेल बनाकर चलने की अपील

सहयोगी दलों के विधायकों से तेजस्वी ने कहा कि हर समस्या का समाधान है। उचित प्लेटफार्म पर विवाद का निराकरण भी है। हमें एक लाइन बनाकर चलना है। मतभेद के किसी संदेश की गुंजाइश ही न रहे। बयानों और कार्यक्रमों में तालमेल व समन्वय से ही ऐसा संभव है।

जन-संपर्क बढ़ाने का किया आग्रह

महागठबंधन के मसलों का हल आपसी बातचीत से निकाला जाएगा, न कि किसी भी प्रकार की बयानबाजी से। व्यर्थ की बयानबाजी में अपनी ऊर्जा जाया करने की बजाय उसे उन मुद्दों पर खर्च किया जाए, जिससे जनता का भी हित जुड़ा है और हमारी चुनावी संभावना भी।

इसी के साथ तेजस्वी ने विधानसभा क्षेत्र में अधिकाधिक समय देने और जन-संपर्क को और बढ़ाने का आग्रह भी सभी नेताओं से किया।
