राज्य ब्यूरो, पटना। सियासत की चकाचौंध सिर्फ नेताओं को नहीं, बल्कि पुलिस सेवा के अफसरों को भी रास आती है। यही वजह है कि सेवा की अवधि समाप्त होने या फिर ऐच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति लेकर राजनीति में प्रवेश करने वाले अफसरों की संख्या दिन-ब-दिन बढ़ रही है।

बुधवार को रेल सुरक्षा बल के आईजी रैंक के अधिकारी मो. नुरुल होदा ने मुकेश सहनी की विकासशील इंसान पार्टी की सदस्यता लेकर राजनीति में कदम रखा है।

लांडे ने बनाई 'हिंद सेना'

नुरूल होदा अकेला नाम नहीं है। कुछ दिन पूर्व ही आईपीएस अधिकारी शिवदीप लांडे (Shivdeep Lande) ने वीआरएस लेकर राजनीति में कदम रखा और अपनी पार्टी 'हिंद सेना' का गठन किया है।

करुणा सागर ने 2020 में ज्वाइन की थी राजद

असम कैडर के आईपीएस अधिकारी आनंद मिश्रा ने पिछली बार ही राजनीति में प्रवेश किया था। इनके अलावा, तमिलनाडु के पुलिस महानिदेशक पद से सेवानिवृत्त होने के बाद करुणा सागर ने 2020 के चुनाव में राजद की सदस्यता ग्रहण की थी।

सुनील कुमार बन गए मंत्री

वर्तमान शिक्षा मंत्री सुनील कुमार डीजी पद से मुक्त होने के बाद राजनीति में आए और जदयू के साथ अपनी नई पारी की शुरुआत की। फिलहाल वे मंत्री है।

इसी प्रकार, पटना के एसएसपी रहे डॉ. अजय कुमार ने वीआरएस लेकर कांग्रेस के साथ अपनी पारी शुरू की थी। फिलहाल वे झारखंड कांग्र्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष के रूप में कांग्रेस में ही काम कर रहे हैं।

गुप्तेश्वर पांडेय ने भी की जोर आजमाइश, मगर...

इन अधिकारियों के अलावा बिहार पुलिस में महानिदेशक गुप्तेश्वर पांडेय ने भी राजनीति में काफी जोर आजमाइश की परंतु उन्हें विशेष सफलता नहीं मिली।

पूर्व डीजीपी डीपी ओझा ने भी बेगूसराय से राजनीति में किस्मत आजमाई थी परंतु चुनाव जीत नहीं पाए। इन अधिकारियों के अलावा निखिल कुमार, ललित विजय ऐसे अधिकारी रहे हैं तो खाकी छोड़कर चुनावी रण में उतरे और मंत्री पद तक पहुंचे।
