"Longer term I continue to maintain that we are not completely out of the woods. There are some headwinds. It is going to be a tough market if you look at 12 to 24 months point of view," says Dhiraj Agarwal, MD, Ambit Investment Managers.What do you make of the market mood? Is worst of the fall behind us?Dhiraj Agarwal: In the absolute near term we may possibly see a bounce. Markets have been falling for like six months in a row which has never happened before. Last time we saw five consecutive down months was perhaps mid or late 90s, 97 or 98, somewhere at that period of time. So, a short-term respite maybe around the corner looking at the market breadth in the last couple of days and the behaviour of mid and small indices which has started to lead Nifty at least in this month, in the last four or five trading days, is obviously an encouraging sign for a near-term bottoming process. Longer term I continue to maintain that we are not completely out of the woods. There are some headwinds. It is going to be a tough market if you look at 12 to 24 months point of view. You think earnings have bottomed out and if they have bottomed out, do you think it is a matter of time markets will start realising that?Dhiraj Agarwal: Have the earnings bottomed out or not is a big question mark. I mean, will the earnings deteriorate from here? Perhaps not. But next two years are we looking at market earnings growth of 8% to 10% versus going back to 12% to 15% is a big ask at this point of time. So, I am more in the camp that India is seeing a little bit of a cyclical consolidation within a long-term structural uptrend and the cyclical consolidation may result in moderate earnings growth for the next year or two, and a very-very tough up and down volatile kind of a market. Maybe not too much of downside from here, but does it go back roaring up back to the new highs or not is a huge question mark. I do not think so, honestly. Let us probe that a little bit and for the benefit of our viewers, because you are of the belief that there will be that polarisation in earnings and stock price performance and that is going to only continue to rise. Explain that for us and what would it really mean for stock prices eventually and the kind of return expectations one needs to have for the remainder of the year?Dhiraj Agarwal: If you see the history of Indian markets in the last 30 years, it literally moves in a 5-3-5 cycle. So, five years of runaway bull market followed by three years of consolidation and five years of runaway bull market followed by three years of consolidation. So, during the five years or four or five years of one-way bull run, there is depolarisation or the concentration reduces or the market breadth increases in simple terms. Larger section of the market tend to move up and move up very-very strongly and then it is followed by two to three tough years where the polarisation in the market increases. If you see last one year, even the earnings are getting polarised. I mean, till two or three quarters ago, a large segment, 70% to 80% of the segment of the market was able to grow earnings at 15% plus. But in the last two years, that ratio is continuously coming down. Think about 2010 to 13 or 2018 to 20 where only 15% to 20% of the stocks actually give you meaningful positive returns. So, there will be positive returns, there will be alpha to find. It will be a little bit more difficult to locate them and one will have to focus on numbers a little harder, that is what we mean by polarisation.In this particular market, quite an interesting take what you shared with respect to polarisation, but what should be the best strategy to adopt at this point in time because Indian markets have of course seen the great run-up in the couple of years back then. But now, if we are in for some bit of a consolidation, what strategy should one adopt?Dhiraj Agarwal: It is bottom-up, neither sectoral nor thematic strategy will work. So, it is bottom-up stock picking with a huge amount of focus on valuation. So, something that we had sort of forgotten or had started ignoring, I would say, in the last few years. But the current stock price moves and the market moves is very clearly giving us a message that we just do not want to see earnings growth, but we also want to see a very sharp, razor-eye focus on valuations also in the current market environment. So, even within a sector, we will see dispersion and it is already happening. In the last six months, we can see, for example, in banking, Kotak Bank is up 10% whereas IndusInd Bank is down 30%, both private sector banks. BOB is down about 15%. In IT, we can say Coforge up 20% or LTIMindtree down 20%, both second-line IT names and this kind of phenomena will happen more and more going forward in the market. And hence, more than sectors or themes, individual stock picking, sharp focus on numbers with razor-sharp eye valuations as well. Ignoring valuations and just look at earnings will not work.

डिजिटल डेस्क, नई दिल्ली। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सोना घोटाले की आरोपी नोहेरा शेख के मामले पर सुनवाई की। नोहेरा शेख हीरा गोल्ड एक्सिम प्राइवेट लिमिटेड की मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर है। नोहेरा शेख पर 5,600 करोड़ रुपये के बड़े गोल्ड स्कैम का आरोप है।

उन पर लाखों निवेशकों को धोखा देने का आरोप है, इस कारण कई राज्यों में उनके खिलाफ FIR दर्ज हुई हैं।सुनवाई में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) को आदेश दिया कि अगर वह 90 दिनों के अंदर निवेशकों से इकट्ठा की गई राशि का एक हिस्सा यानी 25 करोड़ रुपये वापस नहीं करती हैं, तो उन्हें हिरासत में ले लिया जाए।

क्या बोला कोर्ट?

• न्यायमूर्ति जेबी पारदीवाला की अध्यक्षता वाली सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पीठ ने कहा कि शेख 11 नवंबर, 2024 से अदालत के लगातार आदेशों की अवहेलना कर रही हैं।
• इसके बाद पीठ ने ईडी को आदेश दिया कि अगर वह 90 दिनों के अंदर निवेशकों से लिए पैसों का एक हिस्सा यानी 25 करोड़ रुपये वापस नहीं करती हैं तो उन्हें हिरासत में ले लिया जाए।
• अदालत ने कहा, हम आरोपी को अंतिम अवसर देते हैं कि वह तीन महीनों के अंदर 25 करोड़ रुपये जमा करें, अन्यथा उनकी जमानत रद कर दी जाएगी और प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) उन्हें वापस जेल भेज देगा।

कपिल सिब्ब्ल ने क्या दी दलील?

वहीं शेख की ओर से पेश वरिष्ठ वकील कपिल सिब्बल ने कहा कि उनके पास कोई पैसा नहीं है। हालांकि, ईडी ने बताया कि शेख के स्वामित्व वाली कई संपत्तियों को जब्त कर लिया गया है, लेकिन उनके वकील ने उन संपत्तियों की लिस्ट देने के लिए कहा, जिन्हें नीलाम किया जा सकता है, लेकिन उन्होंने इसका खुलासा नहीं किया।

सोना घोटाले की आरोपी  नोहेरा शेख ने केवल तीन संपत्तियों की डिटेल्स दी, जिनमें से तेलंगाना में दो संपत्तियों को ईडी की तरफ से नीलाम किया जा सकता है।

SFIO मामले की जांच कर रहा है 

गंभीर धोखाधड़ी जांच कार्यालय (एसएफआईओ) ने हीरा गोल्ड और उसके प्रबंध निदेशक से जुड़े मामले की जांच शुरू की। एसएफआईओ अभी भी मामले की जांच कर रहा है।

कब सामने आया था मामला?

हीरा गोल्ड और  नोहेरा शेख के खिलाफ यह मामला 2018 में सामने आया था। जब कई निवेशकों ने कंपनी और उसके प्रबंध निदेशक के खिलाफ धोखाधड़ी की शिकायतें दर्ज कराई थीं। तेलंगाना, आंध्र प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, कर्नाटक और दिल्ली में कई मामले लंबित हैं।

आभूषण और सोने की वस्तुओं का कारोबार करने वाली कंपनी ने निवेश की गई राशि पर 36 प्रतिशत लाभ देने का वादा करते हुए योजनाएं शुरू कीं। शुरुआत में, इसने लाभ का फायदा किया, लेकिन 2018 में कुछ निवेशकों ने कंपनी और नोहेरा शेख द्वारा कथित धोखाधड़ी की शिकायत दर्ज कराई। उन्हें अक्टूबर 2018 में गिरफ्तार किया गया था।

एएनआई, पटना। बिहार में इस साल अक्टूबर-नवंबर में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव (Bihar Election 2025) से पहले सत्ता पक्ष और विपक्ष के बीच जुबानी जंग तेज हो गई है। विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष तेजस्वी यादव ने पटना में कहा कि उन्होंने नीतीश कुमार को मुख्यमंत्री बनाया है। अब इस बयान पर केंद्रीय मंत्री सह मुंगेर सांसद राजीव रंजन सिंह उर्फ ललन सिंह की प्रतिक्रिया सामने आई है।

ललन सिंह ने लालू यादव पर साधा निशाना

केंद्रीय मंत्री ललन सिंह ने तेजस्वी यादव के बयान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए लालू यादव और तेजस्वी यादव पर जमकर निशाना साधा है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि साल 1990 में जब लालू यादव बिहार के सीएम बने तो नीतीश कुमार की वजह से बने।

नीतीश कुमार ने रात-रातभर जागकर लालू यादव के लिए प्रचार किया और उन्हें सीएम बनाया। एक भी विधायक लालू यादव के समर्थन में नहीं था, वो खुद अपने प्रस्तावक थे और एक विधायक थे शिवशंकर।

तेजस्वी को गंभीरता से लेने की जरूरत नहीं : ललन सिंह

केंद्रीय मंत्री ने तेजस्वी यादव द्वारा बजट पर लेकर की गई प्रतिक्रिया पर भी हमला बोला है। उन्होंने कहा कि अब बजट अच्छा है तो ये लोग कह रहे हैं कि ये सरकार बचाने वाला बजट है।

इस दौरान तेजस्वी को आड़े हाथों लेते हुए उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि जब कुछ किया ही नहीं तो क्या ही करेंगे। ललन सिंह ने अपने बयान में ये भी कहा कि तेजस्वी को गंभीरता से लेने की जरूरत नहीं है।

चारा घोटाले का जिक्र

केंद्रीय मंत्री ने चारा घोटाले का जिक्र करते हुए भी लालू यादव पर हमला बोला। उन्होंने कहा कि एच डी. देवेगौड़ा जब देश के प्रधानमंत्री थे तब लालू यादव प्रधानमंत्री बनने के लिए दिल्ली गए थे। तभी उनका नाम चारा घोटाले में आ गया और पीएम बनने का सपना पूरा नहीं हुआ।

सीएम नीतीश के बयान से शुरू हुआ घमासान

4 मार्च मंगलवार को सीएम नीतीश कुमार ने विधानसभा में कहा था कि लालू यादव को मुख्यमंत्री उन्होंने बनवाया था। इस बयान के बाद से ही बिहार में सियासी घमासान मच गया।

तेजस्वी यादव ने दावा कर दिया कि एक बार नहीं बल्कि दो-दो बार उन्होंने नीतीश कुमार को सीएम बनाया है। वहीं, अब केंद्रीय मंत्री ललन सिंह ने सीएम नीतीश के बयान का समर्थन किया है।

महागठबंधन में शुरू हो गया प्रेशर पालिटिक्स का गेम : प्रभाकर

भाजपा के प्रदेश प्रवक्ता प्रभाकर मिश्र कहा कि बिहार में विपक्षी कुनबे में बिखराव की पटकथा तैयार हो चुकी है और विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले विपक्षी गठबंधन का नामो-निशान बिखर जाएगा।

• प्रभाकर ने कहा कि विपक्ष के बीच प्रेशर पालिटिक्स शुरू हो चुकी है। महागठबंधन में सम्मिलित सभी दल बड़ी संख्या में अपने लिए सीटों के दावे कर रहे हैं। कांग्रेस ने 70 सीटों की मांग की है, जबकि राजद कांग्रेस को सस्ते में हटाने की तैयारी कर रहा है।
• वामदल और वीआइपी का मुंह खुलना अभी बाकी है। इनके दावे जब सामने आएंगे तो तेजस्वी के पैरों के नीचे से जमीन खिसक जाएगी। महागठबंधन में कुश्ती के लिए अखाड़ा तैयार हो चुका है।
• राजद अपने सहयोगी दलों को पटखनी देकर ज्यादा से ज्यादा सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने के लिए ताल ठोक रहा है। यही नहीं, सहयोगियों को सस्ते में हटाकर ज्यादा से ज्यादा सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने की फिराक में है।

प्रभाकर ने कहा कि राजद के वरिष्ठ नेता 1990 से पहले और 1990 के बाद के बिहार की तुलना कर कांग्रेस शासनकाल की धज्जियां उड़ा रहे हैं।

कांग्रेस शासनकाल को सामंती बताया जा रहा। भागलपुर दंगे के लिए पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री राबड़ी देवी कांग्रेस को कोस रही हैं। ऐसे में यह तय हो चुका है कि विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले विपक्षी गठबंधन का अस्तित्व समाप्त हो जाएगा।
