राज्य ब्यूरो, पटना। Bihar News: बिहार के सरकारी स्कूलों के छात्र-छात्राओं को राज्य सरकार ने बड़ी राहत दी है। अब पोशाक और साइकिल योजना के लिए कक्षा में 75 प्रतिशत उपस्थिति की अनिवार्यता समाप्त कर दी गई है। स्कूली विद्यार्थियों को कक्षा की शुरुआत में ही पोशाक और साइकिल योजना की राशि दी जाएगी। विधान परिषद में सोमवार को शिक्षा मंत्री सुनील कुमार ने यह जानकारी दी।

शिक्षा मंत्री ने विभागीय बजट पर चर्चा के बाद सदन को बताया कि कक्षा छह से आठवीं तक के 29 हजार स्कूलों में कंप्यूटर लगाया जाएगा। सरकारी स्कूलों में एक करोड़ से अधिक छात्र-छात्राओं को मिड-डे मिल योजना के तहत पौष्टिक भोजन दिया जा रहा है।

ग्रीष्मकाल की छुट्टी में अलग से क्लास नहीं चलाई जाएगी। दिव्यांग छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए विशेष शिक्षकों की नियुक्ति जल्द की जाएगी। राज्य में नए केंद्रीय विद्यालय खोलने के लिए 12 स्थानों पर जमीन चिह्नित कर दी जाएगी।

उन्होंने बताया कि उच्च शिक्षा का बजट भी पांच हजार करोड़ से अधिक है। कालेजों के लिए असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसरों की बहाली भी की जा रही है। सत्र को नियमित करने पर भी ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।

शिक्षा मंत्री ने बताया कि 2005 में शिक्षा विभाग का बजट 4400 करोड़ था जो अब बढ़कर 60 हजार करोड़ से अधिक हो गया है। राज्य में छह लाख से अधिक शिक्षक हैं, जिनमें 44 प्रतिशत शिक्षक महिलाएं हैं। यह महिला सशक्तीकरण का बड़ा उदाहरण है।

स्कूलों में लगातार शिक्षकों की नियुक्ति की जा रही है। मंत्री ने बताया कि वर्ष 2001 में राज्य में आम साक्षरता दर करीब 40 प्रतिशत थी, जो अब बढ़ कर 80 प्रतिशत हो गई है। महिला साक्षरता दर भी 34 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 74 प्रतिशत हो गई है।

बिहार सरकार द्वारा संचालित साइकिल-पोशाक योजना के तहत, राज्य के सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों को स्कूल यूनिफॉर्म और साइकिल खरीदने के लिए पैसे दिए जाते हैं। इस योजना के तहत, बच्चों को उनकी कक्षा के अनुसार निम्नलिखित राशि दी जाती है।

नीतीश सरकार की इस आर्थिक मदद से दूर-दराज के बच्चे भी अब स्कूल जाने लगे हैं। खासकर लड़कियों का मनोबल ऊंचा हुआ है और इसका असर भी देखा जा रहा है। लड़कियां पढ़ाई के लिए पहले से अधिक आगे आ रही हैं।
