Shares of three state-run lenders—Central Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank, and Indian Overseas Bank—continued their downward trend on Wednesday, following a recent fundraising round through Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP).Central Bank of India stock fell nearly 12% today, marking its third consecutive day of losses. The stock had already dropped over 6% in the last two trading sessions. Similarly, Punjab & Sind Bank, which plunged 20% in the previous session, declined another 8.3% on Wednesday.Indian Overseas Bank also faced continued selling pressure, shedding 5% today, making it the sixth straight session of decline for the stock.Indian Overseas Bank recently raised Rs 1,436 crore through QIP, with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and LIC Pension Fund collectively subscribing to Rs 600 crore worth of shares. Other key investors included IIFL Finance and NPS Trust, each acquiring over 5% of the QIP issue.Interestingly, 25% of the total capital raised through this process across the three banks came from LIC. Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, and PNB were also under pressure.Despite the capital infusion, these stocks have struggled, with all of them now trading below their QIP issue price. पीटीआई, नई दिल्ली। देशभर में इस वक्त मौसम का मिजाज तेजी से बदल रहा है। जल्द ही लोगों को भयंकर गर्मी का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। अब रिसर्चर ने गर्मी को लेकर अलर्ट किया है, उन्होंने कहा है कि मनुष्यों में पहले की तुलना में अत्यधिक गर्मी सहने की सीमा कम हो सकती है।

यह जानकारी दुनिया में मनुष्यों की अत्यधिक गर्मी को झेलने की सीमाओं को समझने में मदद कर सकती है। एक रिसर्च के परिणाम से उन्होंने कहा कि यह शहरों को गर्म दुनिया में गर्मियों के लिए तैयार होने में मदद कर सकता है।

ओटावा विश्वविद्यालय की टीम ने की रिसर्च

कनाडा के ओटावा विश्वविद्यालय में गर्मी को लेकर एक एक्सपेरिमेंट किया गया। कनाडा के ओटावा विश्वविद्यालय की टीम ने 12 स्वयंसेवकों को अत्यधिक गर्मी और ह्यूमिडिटी के संपर्क में रखा, ताकि उस बिंदु की पहचान की जा सके, जिस पर धमौरेग्यूलेशन में कैसे कोई व्यक्ति स्थिर शरीर का तापमान बनाए रखने में सक्षम होता है।

प्रतिभागियों को 57 प्रतिशत ह्यूमिडिटी के साथ 42 डिग्री सेल्सियस के संपर्क में रखा गया, जो 62 डिग्री सेल्सियस के ह्यूमिडेक्स या 'सच्चे अनुभव' को दर्शाता है।

क्या कहता है डाटा?

ओटावा विश्वविद्यालय के प्रमुख शोधकर्ता राबर्ट डी मीड ने कहा कि इसके परिणाम स्पष्ट थे। प्रतिभागियों का मुख्य तापमान लगातार ऊपर की और बढ़ता रहा और कई प्रतिभागी नौ घंटे का एक्सपोजर पूरा नहीं कर पाए। यह डाटा थर्मल स्टेप प्रोटोकाल की पहली प्रत्यक्ष मान्यता प्रदान करते हैं, जिसका इस्तेमाल लगभग 50 सालों से धमौरेग्यूलेशन की ऊपरी सीमाओं का अनुमान लगाने के लिए किया जाता रहा है।

ज्यादा तापमान पर की गई रिसर्च

प्रोसीडिंग्स आफ द नेशनल एकेडमी आफ साइंसेज पत्रिका में प्रकाशित अध्ययन में लेखकों ने लिखा, यह अनुमान लगाया गया था कि हीट स्ट्रोक (40.2 डिग्री सेल्सियस) से जुड़े कोर तापमान 10 घंटे के अंदर हो जाएंगे।

घर्मल स्टेप प्रोटोकाल में व्यक्तियों को उनके धीरेग्यूलेशन और जीवित रहने की सीमाओं का आकलन करने के लिए नियंत्रित, बढ़ते तापमान और आर्द्रता के संपर्क में लाना शामिल है। टीम ने कहा कि यह रिसर्च मनुष्यों की अत्यधिक गर्मी को झेलने की सीमाओं को समझने में मदद कर सकती है, जिससे स्वास्थ्य नीतियों और सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा उपायों का मार्गदर्शन हो सकता है और शहरों को अधिक गर्म गर्मियों के लिए तैयार होने में मदद मिल सकती है।

अधिक गर्मी और ह्यूमिडिटी के अनुभव होने का अनुमान: मीड ने कहा, हमारे निष्कर्ष विशेष रूप से समय पर हैं क्योंकि धर्मरिग्यूलेशन के लिए अनुमानित सीमाओं को बड़े पैमाने पर जलवायु माडलिंग में तेजी से शामिल किया जा रहा है। वे अत्यधिक गर्मी के लंबे समय तक संपर्क के दौरान अनुभव किए जाने वाले शारीरिक तनाव को भी रेखांकित करते हैं, जो जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण अधिक आम होता जा रहा है।

गर्मी से संबंधित समस्याओं के लिए भविष्यवाणी

ओटावा विश्वविद्यालय के स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान संकाय में फिजियोलाजी के प्रोफेसर और सह प्रमुख रिसर्चर ग्लेन केनी ने कहा, जलवायु मॉडल के साथ शारीरिक डाटा को एकीकृत करके हम गर्मी से संबंधित स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं के लिए बेहतर भविष्यवाणी और तैयारी करने की उम्मीद करते हैं। दुनिया के कई क्षेत्रों में मनुष्यों के लिए सुरक्षित माने जाने वाले तापमान से अधिक गर्मी और आर्द्रता का अनुभव होने का अनुमान लगाया गया है।

लंदन के किंग्स कालेज के नेतृत्व में किए गए एक अध्ययन में अनुमान लगाया गया है कि दुनिया की लगभग छह प्रतिशत भूमि पर युवा वयस्कों के लिए सहनीय सीमा से अधिक गर्मी की स्थिति देखी जा सकती है, जबकि वृद्धों को अधिक जोखिम होगा। फरवरी में नेचर रिव्यूज अर्थ एंड एनवायरनमेंट में प्रकाशित रिसर्च के अनुसार, दक्षिण एशिया सबसे अधिक प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में से एक होने की उम्मीद है।
