Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made an ironic quip on Sunday about his choice not to wear a suit to the White House, where he faced a dressing-down from Donald Trump.In a video released by the presidency, Zelensky, a former actor and comedian, thanked the audience at the end of his speech at an awards ceremony, adding: "Sorry I'm not in a suit", to smiles and applause.The president was dressed in a black outfit with Ukraine's trident symbol similar to what he wore during his acrimonious exchange with the US president last month.Since Russia invaded in February 2022, Zelensky has swapped suits for casual military-style gear such as T-shirts and fleeces in khaki or black.This makes him stand out at any gathering of leaders and emphasises that his country is fighting a war. His team has followed his example.But at the Oval Office meeting, a reporter for a right-wing broadcaster, Brian Glenn, mockingly asked Zelensky why he was not wearing a suit."I will wear (a suit) after this war finishes," Zelensky answered wearily in an exchange widely shared online.Media outlet Axios reported, citing sources, that Trump was irritated Zelensky did not wear a suit at the meeting after US advisers told him it would be more "respectful" to wear a suit.Trump remarked sarcastically when Zelensky appeared that "he is all dressed up today", before virulently laying into the Ukrainian leader.Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov gave a lengthy commentary on the Oval Office talks to state television on Sunday, expressing horror at the exchange."Being a diplomat by profession, I could not believe my eyes, nor my ears," he said, claiming that rulers have not resorted to such brutal tactics since "ancient times"."It used to happen in ancient times, that they would chop off the head of a state who went somewhere on a visit or put him in prison. But I think that even by the mediaeval era, that did not happen," he said.

डिजिटल डेस्क, नई दिल्ली। आंध्र प्रदेश के सीएम चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने हाल के दिनों में दक्षिण बारत के लोगों को अधिक बच्चा पैदा करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया था। उनके इस प्रोत्साहन की वकालत के बाद विजयनगरम से पार्टी सांसद कालीसेट्टी अप्पाला नायडू ने गजब का एलान किया है।

दरअसल, टीडीपी के लोकसभा सांसद कालीसेट्टी अप्पाला नायडू ने तीसरे बच्चे को जन्म देने वाली महिलाओं को 50,000 रुपये देने की पेशकश की है। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी घोषणा की कि अगर महिला लड़का पैदा करती है तो उसे एक गाय भी भेंट की जाएगी। उन्होंने ये घोषणा सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट किया, जो वायरल हो रहा है।

सांसद ने की बड़ी घोषणा

लोकसभा सदस्य कालीसेट्टी अप्पाला नायडू ने कहा कि वह अपने वेतन से नकद प्रोत्साहन राशि देंगे। लोकसभा सांसद की यह घोषणा इस समय सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रही है। टीडीपी नेताओं के अनुसार, उनकी इस पेशकश को महिलाएं क्रांतिकारी बता रही हैं। इसके साथ ही सीएम चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने भी इस पेशकश की घोषणा करने के लिए सांसद की प्रशंसा की है।

सीएम नायडू ने घटती जनसंख्या पर जताई थी चिंता

गौरतलब है कि मार्च के महीने में दिल्ली की अपनी यात्रा के दौरान सीएम नायडू ने दक्षिण भारत में घटती जनसंख्या पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा था कि वहां की वृद्ध होती आबादी चुनौतियां पेश कर रही है, जबकि उत्तर प्रदेश और बिहार जैसे राज्यों में युवा आबादी अधिक है। इसके साथ ही सीएम नायडू ने जनसंख्या नियंत्रण के बजाय दीर्घकालिक जनसांख्यिकीय प्रबंधन की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया था।

सीएम नायडू ने इस दौरान कहा था कि मैं पहले परिवार नियोजन की वकालत करता था। अब मैं अपने विचार बदल रहा हूं और जनसंख्या को बढ़ावा दे रहा हूं। भारत एक ऐसा देश है, जिसके पास जनसांख्यिकीय लाभांश में सबसे अधिक लाभ है। अगर हम भविष्य के लिए जनसांख्यिकीय लाभांश का प्रबंधन कर सकते हैं, तो भारत और भारतीय महान होंगे। वैश्विक समुदाय वैश्विक सेवाओं के लिए हम भारतीयों पर निर्भर हैं।

महिलाओं को मिलेगा मातृत्व अवकाश

शनिवार को आंध्र प्रदेश के सीएम चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने कहा कि सभी महिला कर्मचारियों को प्रसव के समय मातृत्व अवकाश दिया जाएगा, चाहे उनके कितने भी बच्चे हों। उन्होंने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर प्रकाशम जिले के मरकापुर में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में यह घोषणा की।

सीएम ने एक्स पर किया पोस्ट

उल्लेखनीय है कि सीएम नायडू ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म एक्स पर पोस्ट करते हुए लिखा कि पहले, मातृत्व अवकाश दो बच्चों तक सीमित था। अब, हम सभी बच्चों को कवर करने के लिए मातृत्व अवकाश बढ़ा रहे हैं, चाहे उनकी संख्या कितनी भी हो। इस कदम का उद्देश्य परिवार के विकास को प्रोत्साहित करना, जनसंख्या संतुलन को संबोधित करना और महिलाओं को उनके पेशेवर और व्यक्तिगत जीवन को संतुलित करने में सहायता करना है। हम महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने और आंध्र प्रदेश के लिए एक मजबूत भविष्य बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं।
