Chamber organized an interactive meeting with ShriSudhir Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary cum Commissioner, Department of Commercial Taxes, Bihar to discuss the matter regarding Commercial Taxes Department and also on line availability of Statutory Forms namely D-VII, VIII, IX and D-X besides declaration in Form – C and Form – F.

Chamber organized an intreractive meeting with H. E. Mr. Tariq A. Karim, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India at the Chamber to discuss the issues related with the strengthening of bilateral business and trade with Bangladesh.

Chamber organized a meeting with Shri Sudhir Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary cum Commissioner, Department of Commercial Taxes, Bihari to discuss the issues related with the Commercial Taxes Department.

Chamber organized an interactive meeting with Shri Alok Kumar Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar and with Shri C. K. Mishra, IAS, the Joint Secretary,Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprieses, Government of India to discuss issues related with the development of industries in Bihar.

Chamber organised a meeting with the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax–I, Patna. The Commissioner of Income Tax-I, Patna also participated in this meeting to discuss the various issues relating to Income Tax Department.

Chamber organized a Holi Milan function in the Chamber’s premises. Besides the Members, several Hon’ble Ministers from the Bihar Government, Senior Officials of the State Government and other dignitaries also participated in this function.

Chamber organised an Interactive Meeting with the 70 member visiting Chinese Youth Delegation to India (Bihar) in the auditorium of Bihar Chamber of Commerce. The delegation was led by H. E. Guan Wei, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China. Deep cultural bondage between China & India was discussed in this programme

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries of India (ASSOCHAM) in association with the Bihar Chamber of Commerce organized a ‘Food Processing Investment Summit’ in the auditorium of Bihar Chamber of Commerce.

Shri Sushil Kumar Modi, Hon’ble Dy. Chief Minister, Bihar, Shri Narendra Singh, Hon’ble Agriculture Minister, Bihar, Dr. (Smt.) Renu Kumari Kushwaha, Hon’ble Industries Minister, Bihar besides senior officials from the Central and State Government also participated to grace this Summit. Immense possibilities of Food Processing Industries and road map for growth of this sector in the brainstorming session of the Summit.

Chamber organized a meeting with Shri S. K. Chattopadhyay, Vice Chairman, Income Tax Settlement Commission, Additional Bench, Kolkata. Shri Vinod Khurana, Member of the Commission also participated in this meeting. Significance and role of the Commission were thoroughly discussed during the meeting.

Chamber celebrated the 63rd Republic Day. Chamber’s Vice President, Shri Ganesh Kumar Khetriwal hoisted the National Flag. The function was attended by the large number of members

37th Death Anniversary of Chamber’s Former President, Late Khem Chand Choudhary was commemorated in the Chamber’s premises.

Chamber organised a meeting with Dr. K. P. Ramaiya, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Patna and Shri Pankaj Kumar Pal, IAS, Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation in its premises. Matter related with the difficulties faced by the residents of Patna and measures for proper development of civic amenities in the city were discussed in this meeting.
